Clear terms for one-of-a-kind work.
These terms apply when you buy from Jason Morgan, a sole trader trading as The Hobbyist. The Hobbyist is not VAT registered.

Wood pieces are handmade and hand-painted from reclaimed pallet wood. Stone pieces are individually moulded and hand-painted. Photographs and dimensions describe the piece as accurately as possible, but natural grain, knots, moulded texture, colour and brushwork will vary. A remade design will not be an exact duplicate.
Ordering and payment
Submitting your delivery details creates an order awaiting payment and shows the final total before you continue to PayPal. The order is accepted when secure payment has been captured and the on-screen confirmation is shown. If payment is not completed, the order remains unpaid and is not prepared for dispatch. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and do not include VAT.
Personalised work
A personalised order begins only after the main design, size, price and estimated dispatch time have been agreed. You must have permission to provide any photograph, wording or design supplied as a reference. Jason may decline requests that cannot be made safely or lawfully.
Welcome discount
A customer account receives one 10% welcome code. It is valid once on the account holder’s first ready-made shop order when the items total is over £30. It does not apply to personalised quotes, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be combined with another code.
Delivery, cancellation and returns
The shop currently delivers only within the UK. Dispatch estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates. The separate delivery and returns pages form part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits the legal rights available to UK consumers for faulty or misdescribed goods.
